The building where Postino Boulder is located has a rich history dating back to the early 20th century. Originally constructed in 1919, the building was initially used as part of the neighboring post office, serving as a central hub for mail distribution in the Boulder area.
Today, the building retains much of its original charm and character, with exposed brick walls, high ceilings, and large windows that provide plenty of natural light. Postino Boulder continues to be a beloved destination for those looking to enjoy a meal, sip on a glass of wine, and soak in the rich history of the building and the surrounding area.
The interior design of Postino Boulder features a mix of modern and vintage elements, with exposed brick walls, reclaimed wood accents, and industrial lighting fixtures. The space is cozy and inviting, with a relaxed and casual atmosphere that is perfect for enjoying a glass of wine or a meal with friends. The Immersive Art Experience was currated to pay tribute to the Boulder, Colorado based sitcom Mork and Mindy where a roller skate race was filmed on Pearl Street. The only time this pedestrian street closed down for the filming of this specific episode.
The aesthetic of Postino Boulder also pays homage to the local community and the natural beauty of Boulder. The restaurant features artwork and decor that showcases the underground History of Boulder, as well as nods to the city's outdoor lifestyle and commitment to sustainability.
